I found this pilates reformer DVD to be excellent. I watched it through once to learn what it had to offer. The instructor is leading the routine verbally & there are 3 women actually doing the workout. At times, she assists/corrects each of the students. The second time I actually did the workout with the video. The instructor is excellent- incorporating inhalation & exhalation into each series of movements. The detailed instruction is perfect, as if she were my personal instructor. Several times during the workout, the instructor gives reminders of which muscles to engage, which to relax, etc, which was extremely helpful to me as no one is with me to watch my form. The best part is the timing & instruction- it's perfect, so I was able to follow along with ease rather than feeling rushed.
